Law's been my Tekken main for a long time, but I just never really got past learning simple bread and butter moves with him. It helped me beat my friends but only got me bodied online. So watching this video made me realize that I need to dive a bit more into his moveset. And dive even more into relearning the Tekken basics again. KBDs, juggles, OTGs, sidestepping, and all the other fundamental things again.

I was actually waiting for you to make a Law guide. I picked up the game a few months ago and I used your 'which character should you play' video to choose Law as my main. I have a pretty decent grasp of Law, but I'm glad this guide exists now as a Law fundamentals textbook

Law Player here and he hit pretty much everything on the head with this one. The struggle to close distance is very real!! Only thing I would have mentioned is down 3+4,3 as a panic move. Risky as hell, but it is a CH launcher and is soooo good when it works.

The best Anti Law video I have ever seen citing the weakness and limitation of Marshall Law of Tekken 7. In brief_ Weaknesses & cause of weakness: 1) B&B moves can be ducked or low parried. 2) DSS has can be interrupted 3) No clean hit damage 4) Auto parry removed from DSS

Because personally it feels very distracting for me, and the first time it came out, it feels like something you'd add in editing to correct yourself But otherwise great content! If you are referring to the box that shows the frame data and distance, it is an option in practice mode that is locked behind a paywall (Additional paid content).

Its a framedata overlay on pc. Just search on Google. I remember that the devs were gonna implement a thing where it changes you're nick to show you have the overlay with [overlay] in you're name or smth.

12:39 His leg throw has a large window for breaking actually. There's like 3 stages where you can break which sucks for Law players. One when he's just climbing up, Two when he gets his other foot in, Three when he's actually up there in the opponent's chest lol. I'm not making this up.

At around 20:40, the input to go into DSS after the parry is just “b,f” right after the animation is complete. If you do that instead of “b,b,f,f”, you will get it much quicker.

The higher level laws can combo with ws4 dss as: a screw (ws4 dss 3), mid combo (simply ws4 to add juggle), or as a combo ender (ws4 dss f4 or at wall ws4 dss f3). Even laws new move dragon lance (db 3+4) at the wall gives you a free ws4 dss f3. i been maining law for so long and i still cant ws4 dss properly because the frame is so fast to do it as appose to 4,3 1,2 etc

The real tech to playing Law is to download something while you're playing to ensure a connection less than 4 bars.

Df+2 has poor whiff recovery. It's generally used in frame traps. For Claudio generally stick to jabs, db1, 4,3 or of course hopkick.

Very informative video..The tricky leg throw (if they don't parry you) can be set up with df 3+4. And b4 is a great set up into df2 makes it very hard to read. And don't forget that they brought back dragontail into 3+4 from season 2.

df3+4 has way too much pushback to follow-up with f2+3. Dragon tail into 3+4 can be techrolled (and launch punished) so it's not a true combo.

Law is mostly effective against Hawrang and his kicks. His counter attack low block combo baits Hawrang players in and he then he csn hit his kick whiff. But those things were actually in tekken 3. I don't know how they have made him in the recent games. There are many Law players who actually never lost in particular to King and Hawrang in my area. Law also had the highest tendency to break out from a combo hit.

Josie d4 is -10, second low of Heihachi hell sweep is also -10, and gigas has some obscure move that I don't know the notation of that's -10 and forces crouch because ofc he does

Law would have been a great candidate for a 2nd rage drive. As described, his current one is pants. Maybe an enhanced version of DSS f+1, comparable to something like Paul's RD deathfist, just brainstorming.
