Come to the first day of classes for the House Rules, Tips, and the Perfect Attendance Incentives. 9. Find a seat near the front of the class but away from the line of sight of the professor. 10. Recitation Anxiety is a real thing. Trust that you'll get better over time. Experience is key to becoming better. Keep your feet together, hands on your side and look at the prof. forehead not their eyes. 11. Volunteer for recitation even when you're not sure of the answer. Volunteer when you're very prepared. Score the easy points whenever you can. 12. Stay hydrated, even during class hours. Watch out for the empty calories in sugar. 13. Check for assignments once daily but be mindful of the time you spend on social media. 14. Begin your study session with a review of the day's tasks. Pick out the most important and work your way down your list. 15. End your study session by resetting your study space back to its neutral state. Learn to clean. 16. Visualize your day. Evaluate your performance daily on a scale of 1 to 10 based on Effort, Focus, and actual performance during class hours. 18. Set aside 5% of your income for law school emergencies. I cried at number 26. I am very very depressed and anxious. Even now that I inquired for the law school admission, I was walking with trembles. They got worse after I graduated. I couldn't function well so as to eat and bathe. But everyday, I fight them, hoping to heal from all the past I've been through and still going through. I sometimes think that I may not do well in law school with this mental health for I am so troubled. But I see hope in what you said. In God's name, I will be a lawyer. God bless you, Sir.

i was a law student but have to stop due to the necesity of securing my tenure in the government. the video indeed give information and guidance on what law school is. kudos to mr. lex, in due time i'll return to law school. natural lang talaga kabahan sa law school pero pag kinain ka ng kaba lagi dapat magbasa dahil un lang naman talaga ang makakatulong para magkaroon ng kumpyansa. that is what my professor advice to us then.

My 1st semester in law school has just ended. I did not buy any textbooks nor codals. I used app and soft copies of books for it. I am a working student. I had no enough time to study and it really drained my motivation to pursue my law studies. I only read a day before exams. My biggest struggle was my focus in reading books. I have a goldfish level of focus. I ended browsing fb and youtube. Its so hard, physically exhausting, mentally draining, emotionally torturing. I felt so stupid when I wasn't able to answer my professor. Thankfully I passed all my subjects thru prayers. Going to my second semester, I promise to buy books na and study better. But really really nakakatamad 😭

I just graduated grade 10 and picking a strand is really hard for me dahil hindi ko pa alam kung ano talaga ang gusto ko. One day I asked my mom I told her na hindi pako sure kung ano ang kukunin kong strand, my mom said ayaw mo ba sa law anak? Total nakikita ko naman sayo mahilig ka sa mga batas and minsan magaling ka sa arguments. This suggestion that my Mom said to me opened a bright light and inspiration to me na, Oo nga noh? Gusto ko naman sa mga batas and gusto ko magtanggol ng tao, I want them to have justice lalo na yung mga mahihirap at walang alam sa batas. Now today I am researching on how to be a lawyer, what are the requirements etc. Thank you for this video because it really helps me a lot to imagine the things and situations I may be in someday and the things I need to do and improve to be a successful lawyer. I am praying and hoping that this path is the path the God wants me to take, may He guide me throughout my journey and may He provide for the finance's for my education on being a lawyer. Hopefully I will become a great lawyer someday, I can't imagine how happy I will be and my parents if I will accomplish this dream of mine. May God bless me🙏

Be grateful. It's true sir. Im grateful to our librarian who allowed me to use law books for a semester for I don't have budget to buy REX books then. Just thinking that I can surpass them all.

If I had to add one thing: If you are enrolled in a school that allows you to choose a minumum number of units or subjects that u can enroll... make sure NOT TO ENROLL THE FULL LOAD of the course subjects for the first year and not to take all major subjects at the same time. This was something I truly regret in law school that I had to totally withdraw merely 2 weeks in. I could never manage the case readings as each meeting means another case loads to read on the pile list. Remember law school isn't an undergrad. Recitations will be like you are in the court assumed to be ready to defend your case so u really need to give major subjects your full invested time to read and understand everything from the articles to the full texts... Also, major subjects tend have more terror professors than minor subjects. You can do with just 1 terror prof... but three or four? Your mental health will suffer the most.

I also have a napolcom eligibility.. I really have a hard time on choosing what to do with my life but the nearest profession I love to do is really becoming a police to serve the people in our country but sad to say I just got diagnosed with an auto-immune disease last year I dont know If Im still qualified or physically fit. If not! I would enter law school soon.. Waiting for the right time or after this pandemic.
