Very rare for a "SUCCESFUL" lawyer. You would be surprised by the ammount of lawyers who purpously get a paycut to make sure that kids who make mistakes dont end up getting their lives thrown away. I personally onow of one who financially supported a familly for a period of time to help them get by. There is a lot of good lawyers who are amazing people. We tend to see them as evil because no matter what side you are on, there will always be a lawyer who opposes you(defendant or prosecutor). And because as humans we only concentrate on the negative, it gives us the impression that they are all evil. But just like with any other job, there is both.

The way he says he “lost his composure” means that he probably got reprimanded by the Senior Partners at his firm for that incident. I feel bad if he did because it only illustrated how he was enthusiastic for his client! Also feel bad for the lawyers because this trial was so heavily televised and scrutinized that it was basically the equivalent of your boss and coworkers standing behind you and watching everything you did all day for a month. This sounds so weird but, it was a thing of beauty to watch Ben and Camille in this trial. You can tell that they are both so passionate about the law, they care deeply for their client and they’re both just _so good_ at what they do! I remember at the beginning _almost everyone_ was saying that Johnny could never win this trial. And it is true, defamation cases are notoriously hard to win, _especially_ when the plaintiff is a public figure. But even though it was obvious they worked their butts off, these two made it look so flawless and easy. Watching Camille completely own Amber in cross examination was so satisfying, and Ben’s "fist pump" was one of my favorite moments of this trial. As for Kate Moss, she is clearly a woman of integrity. She didn’t have to get up in front of the whole world and testify for Johnny, but obviously she felt strongly enough to want to get the truth out. Not “his” truth or “her” truth, as Amber and her team are so fond of saying. _THE_ TRUTH.

@@gabrieldorame451 Well, I think pretty much everyone cares about money to some extent and idk a single person who would say no to a raise at work, but for how hard these guys worked on this case, the years and years and years of preparation, the mountains of discovery, the hours of depositions, the disappointments about what evidence would be admitted and what wouldn’t., not to mention the setback about losing the UK trial, and then their rallying back and pulling out an amazing performance during this trial itself, I think it’s only fitting that these two be able to write their own ticket after all the obvious work they put into this case. They did an amazing job, they _should_ be able to charge what they want now. Even if the rates are now (even more) exorbitant than they were before, they worked so hard in this trial and _proved_ that they are worth it. They did what pretty much _everyone_ said was impossible. They actually won a defamation case against Amber Heard. And even the people who _did_ look at this case and thought that they _might_ have a teeny tiny chance, they thought that Johnny might win _one_ of the defamation allegations. But even that was a long shot. So imo, after all the hard work they put into this and after their obviously amazing performances, they both _deserve_ to be able to call their own shots now. These guys did what pretty much everyone said was impossible.

Which is why I think they went to bat for him as hard as they did. I’m sure they channel that passion for the law apply it towards any client, but I just really get a feeling that JD isn’t _just_ a "client” to them. They believed him and believed _in_ him. It’s more telling that she was so willing to testify in such a timely manner. Most people would’ve needed some prodding or convincing but she was ready to go. That’s what was admirable to me and why her testimony was so impactful. It wasn’t that it was in favor of Johnny, it was that she was willing to testify -after having never done so before in any other high profile scenario- for an Ex who she clearly still cared enough about to finally help out Amber as the conniving liar she really is.

Ben Chew is a straight up genuine, humble, lovable guy he showed how he cared for his associates and mostly for JD! The whole team throughout the trial and thereafter has been nothing but professional and respectful. It’s like JD and his teams energy just vibe all positive and genuine and you can see Amber and her team and their energy. It’s crazy! And the fact that Elaine made an even bigger fool of her self after the trial with the things she said and the mockery she made of herself and the nasty things she said and the verdict wasn’t even hot off the press yet! It’s just unbelievable and it goes to show that the jury and the court of public opinion can see that we are on the right side and justice was served-side note although I don’t think to the fullest extent in Amber and her lawyers lying as they did. I think they should be held accountable bc that is what is harmful is when evil gets away with a slap on the wrist.

Whenever one of their team had done well, they were hugging each other or nodding in appreciation. They seemed to really be invested, they seemed to really like Johnny, and they were completely convinced of his innocence. That whole team and their relationship to their client gave off a completely different vibe than AH's team. This is probably the only case in history where a male celebrity is accused of DV and SA and literally not one person has come forward with a similar claim against him....NOT ONE. in fact every witness claims the absolute opposite.

I tried telling someone this on facebook and all they could say is how he believed people who had claims against believed they was innocent and said since he supported them he supported crimes against women and children so he must of hit her and sa her. I tried telling them you can believe someone is innocent and not the claims. And when i bought amber past up they ddnt say nothing. I said no one else came out against him it was the opposite all exs and women and men he worked with all had something good to say about him. But uk people will believe what they want. Glad he got justice and can now live in peace knowing he spoke up

So true! That so many (myself included) find it so rare and refreshing speaks volumes about what we have accepted as normal in our society. Is it possible that this trial might inspire an upsurge of virtue out of the torrid downward spiral of rage, fear, greed, and gaslight-y nonsense that seems to have taken over? 😃
