Love those Melnor vortex nozzles. I also have the extendable vortex nozzle that makes it really easy to get into hard to reach places or first story gutters. That looks like it was a lot of work PJ, it will be looking great once that sod roots and takes off in the coming weeks!

You know the quality of Melnor 🙌🏽…Yes, a lot of work and so much more to go. Biceps are on fire 😂😂. I’m on top of that sod lol. The last time I got sod it rooted in SIX days but weather was optimal.

Awesome job PJ. Quicker satisfacion with sod. I also like to watch the grass grow in bald areas as well. My hats off to you fortackling that sod.

Thanks Greg. I'm saving a little area for my bare dirt seeding. With the amount of traffic in the back, the sod just made more sense.

Great job and great decision on going with the sod. I basically did the same thing last fall. I had a problem area in my rear lawn near the tree line that was thin and weed-prone. I cultivated just as you did and laid sod (360 sqft). It was hard work but the end result was phenomenal. You will be pleased with the results of your project in no time 👍🏽😄
