This huge lawn scarification completely overwhelmed me. I surveyed this 12 months ago and at the time it was Summer, and slightly less thatch in the lawn.
When I visited this to scarify, the moss had arrived with a vengeance. I ploughed on expecting it to take a day (at most).
The customer had already said she was going to help me - and thank goodness she did. At the end of the first day we managed to get around 50% of the lawn done.
The thatch levels were CONSIDERABLE, plus the thatch was damp, making it heavier.
Overall on day 1 (this video), we filled 16 tonne bags and 15 black bags (2 runs to a recycling farm).
