I have a problem with alcohol and tobacco and cussing (among other things), I've been blessed to be able to say no to weed and other such, having to do with driving & the paranoia associated with those...I still hate myself for giving in to drink & smoke etc....none of us is perfect, we all fall short...I think it's the speck & plank syndrome. Oh, how I pray to have Godly people to minister to me, no, they're not gonna be perfect, yet they would minister/disciple me.

He is forgiven. He still has the blessing to teach. Let he who is without sin. Do you think all our great teachers are perfect??? Please love our preachers.

@@jumpsouth1 There is no biblical requirement for teachers, preachers, pastors, etc. to be "perfect." There are biblical standards nonetheless, standards which RC Sproul Jr doesn't even come close to meeting per Titus 1:5-9, 1 Tim. 3:1-7. One of them is "He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil’s trap." RC Jr has one of the worst reputations imaginable. Whether or not Sproul has repented and is forgiven is totally irrelevant to whether or not he's biblically permitted to teach, preach and pastor. He needs to needs to get an honest day job, stop living off welfare and foods stamps, grifting for donations for his "church," sit down in the pew next to the rest of us and stop masquerading as a pastor.
