What if I have a capius warrant out of Dallas and my attorney told me I have to turn myself in even though I'm out on bond for the same charges he's telling me to turn myself in on. and my lawyer never set a court date and my bondsman said they never heard about me having a court date and don't know what my lawyer is talking about is there something I can do

I had the same case happen to me I got cuffed for having a joint in my ear but not being aware of being there a cop saw it threw me in the unit but then let me go and told me a warrant would be put out for my arrest and a week or 2 later a detective called asking to turn myself in to the county jail but I don’t wanna have to go to jail for just having a joint . And it’s a scary feeling going out about my day knowing they can take me out my vehicle any day .

What if it's for a crime in Oklahoma that isn't even a law in texas and they say my name doesnt pop up in texas? Do you think just living a squeaky clean life and avoid probable cause would be enough to be fine? Said person isn't a troublemaker and a law abiding system. Just lost during younger years bc of aging out of fostercare system and not knowing what the right moves were in the wrong situations. In fact, charge only happened from being misled. Tried turning self in. They said they wouldn't extradite.
