I’m not at all saying how I did this is right.
If you can buy fancy rich people control arms I’d suggest it
I’m poor
I’m dumb
I’m ambitious
When you Z go 3-3.5” up, 1.5-2” forward
3” drop spindles
Cut 4” out of your frames belly horizontally
Step notch accordingly
Step lower control arms or cup them 2”
Take 15° out of upper control arms
Stop being a puss
Go build some junk into cool looking junk

You're definitely right about the OBS 3500's being a better overall suspension setup. On my 92 dually I did 22 inch rig wheels, 2 inch longer than stock, fabricated upper and lower control arms with uniball balljoint, and I put 3/4 ton rotors on it instead of the 1 ton. The spacer for the wheel is built into the rotor so by using 3/4 ton rotors it sucked the tire under about 4 and a half inches. So overall I narrowed my front end by about 2 and a half inches on each side. Worked out fantastic, I can dive in parking lots 1/2" off the ground and turn lock to lock doing it.

Oh shit that’s smart as hell. I have an idea brewing kinda similar but using a 2500 rotor but extending control arms is smart to keep the turning tighter inwards. HMMMMM that’s good food for thought thank you

On my dually i have 22 inch semi wheels and its bodydropped...front tires are 265/35...i have stock control arms narrowed 1 inch...i didnt pocket the lower i instead cut the upper mounting location and raised it 1.5 or 2 inches...been like that for 10 years...i can turn lock to lock laid out and drag rockers everytime i turn anywhere....new subscriber i like the content man keep on keepin on

That thing is a beast….i wanna lower my ‘73 c10….its a shortbed fleetside….i recentley added a vortech blower to the LS i put in a few years back…..its a fun truck to drive when i dont feel like driving my duramax or LSA blown nova…..ive always had a soft spot for thosr crew cab 3+3 squarebodys
