The McVities is one of the better liveries for that van. It's surprising how they look less toy-like when run as a block train. I have a couple and I might consider keeping others that come my way. My other favourite is the Cadbury's van, as that was one of my first wagons as a child. Having said all that, the Hornby long wheelbase van is best viewed from a considerable distance, as there's almost nothing prototypical about it! (Useful source of tanker chassis, though.)

Looks fantastic Bill, looking forward to the next scenic stage. Have you decided on what you gonna do or just see how it pans out. The viaduct looks great and the back scenes will add that extra depth. Will you be putting on some from panels or card? Cloth “curtains” to hide all the stuff under the model railway.
