Greetings from another wet day in Torrance! When someone gives you a painting or woodwork, there is a little bit of themselves in it. I had an incredible neighbor who gave my wife and I a couple of pieces of woodwork. One is a sparrow and the other is a wood pecker that he had carved and glued from hundreds of pieces of wood. He passed away almost 15 years ago, but a little bit of him will forever live in my house. You got a wonderful gift from a wonderful lady and I hope she reads this so she knows. Thanks again sir!

Love the frame you made for that lady and I love that her painting was inspired by one of your videos! When she held up that barn painting I immediately thought that I would love to own that! So glad she gave it to you! Thanks for sharing Clayton!

I did think it was pretty cool how Holly used a scene from my pedestal video as her painting. I really like the barn painting.

Another great one, Clayton! My Mother-in-law painted on barnwood and one of her favorite subjects was painting barns! I have a couple of her creations hanging in our apartment. If you're familiar with the Little Brown Church in the Vale, she grew up on the property next to it in Iowa and it was her very favorite subject to paint.

Great work. I never thought of overlapping two frames. If you burn the fresh cut edge of the Barnwood with a propane torch and wire brush it, you can blend the fresh cuts with the old wood.

Love making barn board picture frames! One trick I was shown was on the inside cut edge is to take a torch & lightly burn it. Then take wire brush to it & remove some of the charring to get rid of the fresh cut edge! Like the channel keep up the good work!!!
