Luwak coffee is usually obtained through abusive practices. Please avoid this when traveling (or otherwise.) James Hoffmann has a video explaining more info if anyone is curious

I wish I could eat this but I am both celiac, and have glucose intolerance aka insulin resistance aka pre diabetes and an autoimmune condition which forces me to eat ultra healthy. ( even avocado and Night shades flare me ) I spend all my life restricting 😩 now that I can’t eat stuff cause of ACTUAL health conditions… I regret it even more. Therefore: Enjoy food, life and everything while you can ❤

luwak coffee is soo good!! we went there too along with the rice terrace fields and LOVED IT. did you go on the swings over the rice terraces? super touristy but it was awesome

The Luwak are hunted down, locked in a cage , just to pop out the coffee beans. It (newest studies showed) does not even effect the taste of the coffee. I would love to see amazing content creators like you talk about that! And not promoting it. Use your voice, they don’t have one.

It’s amazing how many tourists don’t understand how unethical/cruel it is to consume luwak coffee, don’t drink it and don’t go to the plantations. They treat the animals badly and keep them in poor conditions. Just so they can shit out coffee for you too drink, bad coffee too might I add. Next time you travel, do some research into these areas next time. When you hear of “poop coffee” produced by animals this should ring an alarm bell for you to look into things a bit more.

Hey Linda and other who aren’t aware, but Luwak coffee is actually a really horrible tourism marketing strategy and are most likely kept in cages out of the tourist areas. If you do some research there is a lot to read about xx
