Hey Daebom. I love your animations, they always cheer me and everyone watching up. Right now I'm also going through a period of "wake up, do / achieve nothing, go to bed" and I wanted to tell you that it is okay to feel like that sometimes. From my own experience, creativity comes and goes as naturally as the seasons changes. The best thing to do is just not look at your "down low" but remember your highs and greatest achievements. Champions deserve rest too, we can't be expected to excel all the time, friend. :)

I had a huge drop in productivity now. For months actually. I was slumped, didn't do a thing, but the thought never left me. What if I could just keep on working on the stuff I want. The decision isn't hard but we have a way of delaying the decision making process in a way that harms our mental even more. There is always a reason to do something else that is easier than following our dreams. Don't let it get to you. If you want it, I'm sure you can get back into it and you'll also enjoy making something, even if it might not be perfect in your eyes at first. Keep it up. You're a huge inspiration for me.

Oh I feel the same. I used to sleep 3-5 hours per night in secondary (middle+high school). Now, I can barely reach midnight. Call it accumulated sleep deprived.

I feel you. When I was in highschool my work ethic was supercharged and I found ways to get things in when they shouldn't even be possible. Now, I'm losing my edge, making passes or credits in uni. After years of being tightly wound, it's no suprise I want to let loose and be lenient. I take it you have a similar issue. The brightest stars burn out the fastest. But we got to keep on keeping on and find new ways to shine.

Honestly, we all go through these moments of having little to no energy for things. And when we look back at our past selves, we wonder how we even had that sort of drive to being with. It's just who we are as people. We burn out, we become tired and sometimes we just wanna rest. But that doesn't mean that spark isn't there still, it just means we need to find a way to reignite it. Find that passion and drive we did once before.

You are not lazy, you should be proud that you even do what you do! Not everyone can go "Im going to do this" and then actually do that thing! Especially something as skill based and time consuming as art. You are a talented and hard worker in all of our eyes! We support you dae ❤️

It's definitely me! I did well in high school and three years ago I started actively studying drawing and drawing fanarts. And right now I'm just watching videos of others playing games instead of me and lying in bed.

We all have times in our lives when we don’t feel we have the drive, energy, or purpose to do things we feel like we need to do, and that’s ok. Sometimes it’s better to just rest, and take a break for a while until we feel ready and recharged. Take as much time as you need Dae, it’s better to take a break and not overwork yourself, and like a comment on one of your recent posts said (it was something like this) “to see your light go out completely would be the greatest shame” (-ASimplelt quoting “some fool in the ocean”), you should take as much time to relight the flame that drove you to make videos as you need by resting until you feel better mentally. We’d (your community) be way happier to see you have a little vacation from KZfaq than never see a new video from you again. (P.S. I haven’t been asking for the days series to return in a few weeks [or whenever I last did] because you’ve been posting that you haven’t had much drive recently, been tired [seemingly, at least in my opinion] and that you want to take a break. I haven’t asked because I didn’t want to feel scummy for asking [and I forgot or was too lazy to ask] [also I feel bad right now for asking] so I won’t anymore because it’s kinda rude, but if you ever look through some of the comments on these recent videos [or maybe in the future, old,] then you would know why the comments from me requesting the days series’ return stoped.) Don’t worry daebum, I can say as a Russian guy that for us it’s a common thing when you went to school, then you go to college, and after college you either immediately go on vacation for a month or two, recuperate, or do something of your own/ you work temporarily and still go on vacation, you just need to gain strength, and then somehow you’ll be able to continue working and living
