An Icelandic advertisement about Icelandic vegetables (subtitles included). The slim guy, Jives, was not in the TV series, a boy who never wanted to eat his food, only cocoa puffs, cheerios and so on.

Íþróttaálfurinn translates to "the sports elf." I accidentally referred to him as Sportaflop once again. I found out that the best way to put this is "Floppaálfurinn" (the flop elf).

TheSwagPros360 XD This was the real LazyTown itself back in 2000 not some bootleg, the franchise existed for about 10 years before the show, a book series then 2 stage plays Áfram Latibær and Glanni Glæpur í Latabæ and a radio play Jól í Latabæ then those puppet were created by an Icelandic company called Wit Puppets to promote the franchise like this advert

No, it started as a series of children's books, then a series of plays before becoming a TV series

("Go Lazytown!") in 1995 and was followed up by "Latibær á Ólympíuleikunum" ("Lazytown at the Olympics") the next year before being turned into a play 1997. I wasn't really aware of the books myself until recently since that was a bit before my time
