Contains four detailed example problems for calculating period, frequency, current and energy stored for an oscillating LC circuit.
An LC oscillator converts a DC supply voltage into an AC output. LC Oscillators are used in many pieces of test equipment and in radio-frequency circuits because of their good phase noise characteristics and their ease of implementation.
The circuit consists of an inductive coil, L and a capacitor, C. The capacitor is charged by the DC supply voltage and stores energy in the electric field between its charged plates. When the capacitor is fully charged the switch changes position so that the charged capacitor is now connected the inductor. The capacitor begins to discharge through the coil and the energy stored in the capacitor is converted to energy stored in the magnetic field of the inductor. Over time this circuit oscillates back and forth.

The explanation is excellent. What I wonder about is the calculated current is 88 A. That is really big. Although the formula and calculation is correct, is that possible in reality to get it?

Help me please Two vechels move from rest on a straight, horizontal road to the right. The mass of the car is 1100kg and the mass of the tow truck is 4000 kg. The tow trucks engine applies a force of 15 000N. A constant friction force of 1456N is acting on the car and a constant frictional force of 4520N is acting on the tow truck respectively. Questions Help me calculate the acceleration of the car and the magnitude of the tension in the cable 2. Using equations of motion calculate the distance of that the car will travel in 4 seconds. 3. A create of mass 95 kg crate lies on a plank inclined at 23.2°. At this angle the crate is just about to move down the incline. 3.1 calculate the magnitude of the static friction force 3.2 the coefficient of static friction between the plank and the block * the question does not give us the value of the coefficient or the static friction value Two blocks, of mass 8kg and 4kg respectively, are joined with an inelastic string of negligible mass. The string runs over a frictionless pulley. The 8kg block is on a horizontal surface while the 4kg block is on an inclined plane of 40° with the horizontal. The coefficient of kinetic friction for both blocks is 0.2. The 4kg block accelerates down the slope Questions 6.1 calculate the frictional force between the surface and the 4kg block 6.2 calculate the magnitude of the tension in the string ** please help me out I need help pls I got nowhere else to go but you.
