Really love your videos but i have something to question i dont know if it was by mistake the numbers u mentioned for elta was for its top model with 1500 trm or with one we are going in mk1a coz if its for mk1a then numbers are like 64 targets can be detected and out of them 20 can be tracked while out of them 6 can enganged simultaneously whereas is correct for what u mentioned for jfbk3

what is the weght of tejas mk1a weight. is it same as mk1. then there is disadvantage because adding new systems increases weight even effecting thrust to weight ratio. Also need to know if there is any improvement in dry thrust of ge404 without changing the dimensions. I think the dry thrust jf-17 blk 3 engine rd-93 MA has increased with marginal increase in weight but due to use of composites the airframe weight must have been reduced and also RCS cross section must have reduced as well.

My understanding is bvr missile will be effective based on the radar range. Even though pl 15 has 200+ distance, as Jf 17 radar can detect object only at 170 km, then pl 15 could be used only when object is identified at that distance. Correct me if I'm wrong

Seems that block 3 is better than Tejas Mk1A. Large area display cockpit is a big advantage. They have slight edge in power plant in terms of yield. They have longer range missile P15. Also their IRST will be integrated with the plane and not be pod based, again making theirs score over ours. Our radar seems to be better though. This is sad that we could not match our timelines. Had we done that, today we would be comparing JF Block3 with Tejas Mk2(MWF) and clearly the later would score over the former. Our patriotism aside, seems that they have a better machine than ours overall.
