Thank you for sharing Liznm. Grincs has only known mom and dad for 6 weeks, he is frightened but contains his fear. Well done for Janis's work, it's not easy to climb up a tree!

OMGosh... Look at those skinny legs!! LOL So cute Grincs!! I never knew how little this raptor was until you see it next to the human hand... very small compared to our BE, eh? The man was very quick and quiet, less stress.... in and out, no photos please!! Very nice Liznm* 😍🤗

Lau (RocketFlyHigh) , just Grincs is banded. I'm glad the other not. It was very quick and professional, but the little one was very stressed. Of course, they forget it very quickly.

poor little one he was so scare and stressed the man was so rough with the bird they should teach the people from the reserve how to handle the birds careful

I'm sorry if I have to disagree. He is very experienced and did it right. What do you think he should have done? This species is very stress sensitive. It has to go very fast. Birds react differently. Some think that the bald eagle is less sensitive. You can not see the big stress by some of birds . This is a problem because the birds can die when they are under stress for a long time. Taking animals out of the nest is irresponsible, if it is not necessarily.

Для бедной птички это начало конца. Кольцевание - это причина гибели многих птиц. Желаю Jānis такой же участи. Ставить эксперименты над животными в научных целях негуманно.
