This is one of the cheapest and smallest rear wheel drive Rc drift cars. I will be tinkering with it and hopefully get better at rwd drifting. So far so fun! Thanks for stopping by and consider subscribing to be a part of the RTR Crew!

This red rc car is one of the most cutest rc cars I have ever bought. In the start, I was very, very hesitant to pay for an rc car like this. But man, I have it two days and the throttle response, the control in very slow speed, the tight steering which I love so much the tight steering in rc cars, blew my mind. I am so much impressed with this model. The body look hard palstic but is better than the hard scale plastic bodies that sound like they are gone brake. It's a kind of elastic plastic body. Is very flexible body and seems that has nothing to do with the hard plastic bodies we all now. You should touch it to understand what i mean. Oh my God, man, I loved it. It has so precise throttle in slow control that I parked it between two models on the table. The tight steering is so worth. I paid 40 euros for this model and was worth every euro that I spent. Basically, I was hating these cheap rc cars in general from the videos and images, but I decided to buy one of them and why so many months I didn't buy one. Guys I am a person that I like the precise throttle and very tight steering like the drift rc cars and this red model has these two elements that I want from an rc car. It feels like you use a sensored motor. I will buy more of them in the feature in smaller scale like this for example in 1/24 if someone made on. But this here maybe it has the perfect scale for indoor use. It's not tiny tiny and is not to the big side. You should drive it and feel it to your hands to understand what I mean.

I do plan to have a running video and maybe also switch the esc and receiver with my preferred ones and see if the performance is better.

Hello, thanks for the video, I have a question about mine. The wheels are shaking and I already put a gyro on it, like you, is that normal?

If the wheels are overcorrecting while running that can cause a shaking steering. Try turning down the gain on the gyro. Also make sure your gyro is in a secure spot close to the center of the vehicle. That would be best for most gyros.

Nice, but I have a question, If the battery is connected directly to the board, where does the switch act on? thx in advance

the switch shuts the power off on the board by not letting the battery circuit connect when off. It's between the battery and the rest of the board.

@@RunThatRC Thx. One more question, What is the function of the third wire (Red or White) on the switch?. Most of slide switches have an unused pin but not in this case. It's so confusing!

Hi, which one has the more powerfull motor? given the old version has 180 and V2 smaller 150, it could be some specs of the motor that will make the big diffrence. I’m curious about that 180 😊

the motor is smaller but is a rounds can and seems to provide more speed and torque than the 180 they used originally. It works well for small space driving.

Does this version of the red ae86 have a way to install the v3 gyroscope?

You can install a gyro on these as well. It just goes between the esc and servo connections in line woth the servo wires.

This car or the WPL D12 Suzuki D12 Kei Drift Truck RTR 1/10th for driving indoors to entertain the cats? Also a little driving outdoors occasionally.

the D12. This won't do good outdoors unless you have really smooth pavement. The D12 has a ton of people upgrading them. The d64 has 4wd if that's something you're looking for. This model is also a lot smaller.

with the link in the vidio are both coulores v2 or only the red one

(edit: looks like the link is updated so yes that is the correct one. both white and red). look for the ones called 1801 with the built-in steering gyro. This is an older video and they have since updated the electronics and the materials used (plastic is more hobby grade).
