Yo Austin how come when someone makes a relatively loud sound the mic cuts off ... no other podcast does that. Please fix it , it will sound more professional even if you think it might be annoying.

They do, it's just at different levels. That's called a noise gate. It's a level at which the software recording the microphone input decides to cut off the volume. It's useful to have it because it stops you hearing random background noise like electricals. You know, fridges and light bulbs and fans etc. But yeah, if that's happens when someone makes a "relatively" loud sound, then the noise gate is too low. Needs turning up a bit.
