Certainly wasn't expecting to find this today, but I'm glad we did! Le Cave starts off with a super interesting cave like area and then quickly becomes an all business black diamond descent. Tell me your thoughts and where to ride next in the comments below!

Hi there, I am currently looking into purchasing the z1 coil fork. I currently have a lyrik select+ on my trek slash. I really like the lyrik but I am super curious about having a coil up front. Also thinking about getting a Zeb. I like riding fast chunky stuff. Does the z1 maintain composure, speed and responsiveness on the gnar?

Not to the same degree as a Zeb, but overall, yes. It maintains composure well in a straight line, regardless of rocks/bumps/etc… but where I notice the Z1 hesitates a little is in corners and especially chunky ones. We’re talking marginal differences and the Z1 is still plenty good enough for many pros; however, I can perceive the difference. Another option would be to do a coil conversion on a zeb - I’ve been considering it… but it’s pricey for sure and making me hold off. Plus once you convert a fork to coil, it can’t ever use an air spring again.
