I hope this was helpful, if you have any more tips to share then feel free to comment. Also remember to share the video to others that may like to get better at this track.
For any of the 2nd gear turns, you could try take them in 3rd gear if you want more on-throttle stability. You could also take 1st gear turns in 2nd. The different in lap time shouldn't be much, if anything so do what is comfortable for you.
Lap time in the video is a 3:22.1 (Ferrari 499P Hypercar) using the default setup with soft tires, low fuel, 51:49 brake bias and 100% max pedal force.

UPDATE: Since the 26th March 2024 update of LMU, the Ferrari Hypercar has taken a hit in the Balance Of Performance so it will be slower, however everything in this guide still applies. The only thing I might suggest is that if you are suddenly going a little too deep into turns, then just brake half a car length earlier than before.

What kind of lap times are you achieving now? I am using all the same braking points, but I can't get lower than a 3:27.6 and despite having my rear wing set to P1, I'm still 5kph slower in a straight line.

This is honestly one of the best track guides I’ve ever seen for any sim. I can’t wait for more of them. One question though… when making a setup do you mass around with the brake pedal force because without doing so I can never get to 100% braking without locking up all four tires.

Thank you! I have been adjusting max pedal force but mostly just for the LMP2 car which has very sensitive brakes. I've mostly just been using 100% force for the ferrari hypercar and GTE. I think I may have reduced the force for the toyota hypercar in my spa guide, I can't remember

This guide is really helpful. Last time I really raced in Le Mans was on Gran Turismo 5 more than 10 years ago... Some braking don't change but some reference can help me ^^ Thank you my friend !

At 5:07, having the right tires on the sand caused Glickenhaus 708 (I think the driver that time was Olivier Pla) to spin out and damaged the car enough that he had to limp it to the pits during last year's Le Mans race.

What sort of TC settings do you use? Since we have 3 types, not such whats best.

If you look at the beginning of the videos, it puts a text on the top right, it indicates the parameters of the fuel, brake, etc. For the rest TC and other just looks at the steering wheel on the screen, there's what you're looking for! 😉

Bit late but what I do is add more toe in the rear, it helps in slow speed and braking but in the high speed I adjust the rear arb and make it stiffer

genuine question, how do you not lock up after immediately braking to 80+% break power?

Bringing the brake bias back helps with the front wheels locking up, and also trail braking as I move deeper into the braking zone also ensures I don't lock up. One other interesting thing is that if your battery charge is at 100%, you are more likely to lock up your wheels, it is something to do with the energy recovery system, so try make sure that you are anywhere below 100% at all times ideally.
