This ACC version of nordschleife brings the sim to a new level. Shows us again what Kunos is capable to offer. I race the nordschleife for 10 years, in different sims…. Mate. I wanna thank you for this lap guide. And of course for all the other track guides. It helped me a lot to learn new tracks, to make my laptimes faster, to drive fast and safe at the same time. And i drive with keyboard (yes😄). And i think i can speak for everyone: your lap guides are just the best. So easy and still so efficient. Really really thank you! Of course i knew the Nordschleife before, but this lap guide will make me and other drivers faster, because you don't skip any turn!

ever tried a gamepad? pretty accessible access to linear inputs as opposed to binary which is super important. ffb is helpful but theoretically you could be ideal on a controller, but i don’t know if its possible to reach that with just buttons.

Man it is apparent I have not been using the whole track. I have been dive bombing certain corners and downshifting one to many gears for a bunch of corners. I have a lot of practicing to do. I will be using your video extensively and thank you very much sir for posting and giving such detailed instructions. I know it was a lot of work in the editing room.

Thank you! I'll certainly have some fun driving cars around here on ACC but I don't think it'll keep me on ACC long term especially with Assetto Corsa EVO coming at some point this year, I think I'd rather get into that when it comes around

Great guide. The final part of the track after the karusell is somehow really hard to memorize, the corners are hard to distinguish from each other to begin with.

This track isn’t terrible in gran turismo. But that has gran turismo physics. I’m surprised no one is scared playing this track on this sim, I mean I love the track but I’d be really scared playing it when it comes out on console

Dude this is the scariest Nordschleife I have ever played in a sim. By far. Only thing scarier is the real deal. The elevation changes are insane in real life. Even in a normal car it's crazy. But this game comes damn close.

Long straight on 14:00 you can keep it in 5 gear for more top speed. Don’t shift in to 6. So you only need to lift a little bit for mutcurve no downshift needed. 👍

Just remember this only works with the right setup. With agressive you're probably in the wall in 3 turns on nordschleife loop

Do you mean right near the end of the track before the last braking zone? I didn't really cut anything there but I did notice in some cars that they can get very unstable there.

Haha I always like to get the cleanest laps I can for these lap guides and the mistakes I made in the last third of this lap bothered me quite a bit, but I've still tried to show what can be done better there. One thing I've found with this track in my experience is that you gain confidence with the track and find yourself getting down to some kind of lap time, in my case it was around 8:11 and then you have to really start digging to find the most out of it.
