Greaves was awesome, but they are always referring to the PL. which Greavesy didn't play in. Shearer scored 23 top flight goals before the PL started, and they don't count either. Both the best goal scorers of their generation. Different generations and different games played at a different pace, but Greavesy would have given Shearer a run for his money if they'd played at the same time.
