Every movie nerd when Aragorn kicks the helmet at 2:15: *Heavy breathing* DID YOU KNOW THAT VIGGO MORTENSEN SHATTERED HIS BIG TOE AND IS SCREAMING IN ABSOLUTE AGONY!!! Seriously though, great video. Love Lord of the Rings, and Viggo was the absolute perfect man to portray Aragorn, I can't imagine anyone else that could have done it. I too would follow this man into hell if it was the end of the world and there was nothing left to do but go out in a blaze of glory.

Yeah, when I was gathering these clips, the comments were all filled with comments like that. But joke's on them, my wife is the biggest LOTR nerd, so I already know all the fun facts!

Seriously my biggest fictional hero, I feel like I'm as good of a leader as I am because I grew up watching and reading Lord of the Rings. The best leaders are servants first and foremost.

I had to actively stop myself from diving into some other characters, particularly Sam and Gandalf. If fun movie leadership videos like this get a good reception, I will definitely be making a Sam video!

His charge at the black gate reminds me of Major Dick Winters charging 2 german SS companies with a far smaller force and actually running so fast that he was far ahead of his men.

He never asks anything if anyone else that he wouldn’t do himself. He’s the FIRST to charge the Black Gate and everyone races behind him because they believe in him. That scene shows in a nutshell what a great leader does.

@Dallin Cooper, great video. Would you mind making a “Lead like Dalinar” video or a “Lead like Captain Kirk” video?

I've definitely been considering a Dalinar one as I've been working on figuring out what I actually want my content to consistently be. Captain Kirk would take me a lot longer because I'm just not as familiar with Star Trek lore, but it's not outside of the realm of possibility. Dalinar will likely make an appearance at some point because many of my consistent viewers are Stormlight fans.
