Leadership is the process of influencing the behavior of others to work willingly and enthusiastically for achieving predetermined goals. Undoubtedly, all organizational problems are human problems; and all human problems can be attributed to poor leadership. All human problems can be prevented, minimized and/or solved by an effective leadership. Today’s leader is not a boss; he has to be a mentor to make people work for organizational goals. It the leader who can make people realize their potentialities to do an excellent job. The success of every industrial enterprise is dependent upon the quality of leadership.
