I love the way this rider is continually encouragin his horse, giving her pats for job well done & acknowledging that it's the horse that deserves the accolades. He does this continuously in XC; you can't be patting the horse during dressage, but at the end she gets her propers!

What an amazing partnership. I love how these two work together and that mare is a stunner in every way. I do love it that riders encourage their horses with a physical demonstration, but it seems to me that a lot of horses would prefer a stroke on the neck rather than heavy pats. See how the mare raises her head and hollows out a bit when he does it? Anyway. Nit picking!
