This is really interesting insight. Sarina clearly did an amazing job of taking off all pressure off the players shoulders to win yet still installing in them they were killers who were going to win every game but taking it game by game. Clearly a class manager who knews how to strike the balance and knows how to get the right mindset installed into her players. We're lucky in England to have such talent in Sarina and Leah.

I'm still so buzzing for these lionesses you did it for us but most importantly you did it for yourself and was well deserved I watched all the lionesses live and your just all respectful and well mannered to everyone around you and Sarina is just an amazing coach I can't wait till we play USA and I can't wait for women's world cup 😁

I have watched and listened to many of the women’s England football stars and have been totally impressed by their modesty, gratitude to have achieved what they have, true team bonding and just plain niceness. It’s all really refreshing. My hopes are that this lift the women’s game and provides the players with proper and just rewards. However I hope that they do not lose any of the qualities which endears myself and millions of others to these talented lovely women

No one will forget what the English fans did to Saka and Rashford last year. The fans didn’t deserve to win last year because of the racism that surrounds men’s football.

Thanks for your amazing insight 🙄 comments like these from people thinking they're saying anything new or clever to demean the women's game, when it's same tired, boring repetitive stuff . Shame people can't just skip past something they don't like. Plenty of us here to elevate the game, we don't need negative thinking people like this. Did you go and comment about the England womens hockey team somewhere to tell them they're not worth the attention after their win either? I'm not personally interested in hockey, but I can still appreciate the importance of their win and their open letter too. But still people like you flock to women's football to try and shout down their achievement and what their win means to so many, just because it doesn't meant the same to them. Its so so small minded. Try being a grown up?
