Lean and TPM are sometimes portrayed as being at odds as different Continuous Improvement philosophies, but in fact they can work together beautifully - it's common practice to enrich your TPM "pillar temple" with a Lean or Supply Chain pillar.
Integration Lean into TPM mindset and management does require some careful thought though. To fully benefit from the two systems working together, it's important to treat the Lean thinking as any other pillar: they analyse losses and opportunity in their domain (the Value Stream and Mura, Muri, Muda), support improvement efforts and sustain systems to hold the gains in their domain (mainly inventory management, materials flows and supply chain systems).
If you want to dive a bit further into this topic, I highly recommend checking out Belt Course's Supply Chain Management Leader course: www.beltcourse.com/a/21478798...
