What if the sentence turns long for the intonation of happiness? How would you put that happiness intonation into practice?

Hi John - Thanks for your question! It's difficult to describe how intonation might play out over the course of a really long sentence. A lot will depend on the context of the conversation, the intentions of the speaker, and the audience. But in general, you can try to stretch out the intonation pattern to fit over the length of the sentence, being careful not to have too many peaks, as that could sound phony or distracting. I hope this helps! :)
