Note for beginners, don't learn a language from historical drama. the old Arabic is quite different from modern Arabic languege...

@@Buthayna-b1w I don't speak Lisaan ᶜArabiyy, but still the core rule is sound / writing just as it is in the noun Lisaan which is duality, and that makes it the rule or the basis from which Life / Action is observed! Hence, whether is written ذَٰلِكَ or ذَالِكَ is both correct and the physical “writing” reflects the sound! However, making it as a rule without any relation to the sound ذلك is fundamentally wrong, while it is an adapted writing and people are used to it, still it is very wrong! Language is reflexion of both our Physical and Spirit Being creation / evolution, both as One hence Dual, and disconnecting the duality, it is a Self-disconnection from our Creator Allaah! Aṣ-Ṣalaamu ᶜalayka / ᶜalayki!
