الصَّيَّادُ وَاللُّؤْلُؤَةُ
The Fisherman and the Pearl
The Fisherman and the Pearl
In the serene river waters, a humble fisherman casts his net, oblivious to the profound lesson awaiting him. Our tale unfolds with the discovery of a glimmering shell, stirring both greed and remorse in the fisherman's heart. Once, a fisherman spent his days casting nets into the gentle currents of a river. One fateful day, a shimmering shell caught his eye amid the rippling waters. Believing it to be a precious gem, he abandoned his catch and dove into the river, only to find the shell empty. Regret flooded him as he realized his greed had cost him the fish he already had. Undeterred, he returned the next day. A small fish and a nearby shell went unnoticed as he cast his net again. Unbeknownst to him, fate had a surprise in store: another fisherman discovered the pearl hidden within, a treasure beyond his wildest dreams.
Now, get ready to experience the story in its purest form,
translated directly from the original.
The Fisherman and the Pearl
Once upon a time, there was a fisherman who used to fish in a river. One day, while he was looking at the water, he saw a beautiful shell shining in the water. He thought it was a valuable jewel, and he had caught a fish in his net, so he left it and jumped into the water to take the shell. But when he took it out, he found it empty, and he felt sorry because he had left the fish and wanted the shell out of greed.
The next day, he went to another part of the river and put his net in the water. A small fish fell into it, and he saw a shell next to the fish, but he didn't notice it and left it. Then another fisherman passed by, took it, and found a pearl in it, worth a lot of money.
