Learn from Griffin as he shares how we like to brew our new Jocsan Otoniel coffee from Honduras!
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Origami Dripper
- 15g ground coffee
- Scale
- Timer
- Stirring stick
- Kettle with hot water set to 98 degrees Celsius
RECIPE:
- Rinse Kalita filter with hot water.
- Dose 18g of ground coffee and place it into the filter.
- Shake to flatten coffee grounds evenly and tare the scale.
- Pour water, 65g bloom.
- Stir coffee grounds.
- At 45 seconds, pour up to 180g, wait an additional 20 seconds.
- At 1:25, start the final pour until 300g (final brew weight).
- Swirl to level out the coffee bed for even extraction.
- Aim for a total brew time of 3 minutes to 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
- Pour and enjoy!
