The German verb tenses are very similar to Latin. I haven't studied the history of the German Language, but it sees that most of the grammar structure is very similar to Latin, whereas the vocabulary is very different, of course haha

"Wir sind letzte Woche nach Paris gefahren" is trasleted as "Last week we travelled to Paris", but it isn't present perfect in English. Maybe because the time frase "Last week" the English traslation is different. Danke schön by the way, Sie haben eine gute Methodik

If das Perfekt is present perfect, how come the question "Was hast du gestern gemacht?" is translated as "What did you do yesterday?"? Shouldn't it be "What have you done yesterday?"?
