If you want to really learn Hindi, the best way is to listen and speak the most common Hindi phrases as often and as accurately as possible. If you want to learn Hindi well, these types of videos will help you do that. And doing it in a relaxed way is even better!!!!

The idea is to be in as relaxed or calm a state as possible. Put on headphones if you need to. Best time is the right before you go to bed. The brain is supposedly more receptive in that relaxed state.
The plan: listen to this as often as possible until the words and phrases are natural to you, that you don't even need to think to say them.
These phrases can be used mainly for the first encounters. What do you say to people who you don't know at all or don't know very well? Those phrases.

Imao one more difference is Hindi uses Devanagari script which is written from left to right While Urdu uses Nastaliq script which is written from right to left.

ayira mili same in Tamil. my MIL kept insisting she could not speak English, however, all she did was Tamil words and add in E to the end. Computer became computery, cabbage became cabbagee, plane became planee. Etc

Dipayan Pyne i love most things about Indian culture. I know there are many language across the country. As a foreigner, I think Hindi is the most approachable for me. Also Hindi is main language and I love Indian movies. I have watched for many years since 1999 with SRK. I also enjoy non Hindi ( like Malayalam or Kannada ) but those languages are way more difficult to learn for me.

Lorena Galvan Woah ! That was totally unexpected ! Surprised and glad to hear that. Btw, I speak Hindi and Bengali (my native tongue as I am from West Bengal). Even I have always found languages from South India very difficult be it Tamil or Telugu or Malayalam etc. Most North Indians have a tough time trying to learn them, I dont know why. Haha. But nothing against them. Just saying. But anyway. SRK is world famous ofcourse. Possibly the most popular actor in the world. But his last good film was in 2010, My Name is Khan. Have you seen any of Aamir Khan's films ?! Ever since 2001, almost all his films have been just Mind Blowing ! In fact, having watched both his and SRK's films, I would say that Aamir Khan chooses movies very wisely and his movies speak so much more. I hope you watch Aamir's if you already hvnt ! I am sure you wont be disappointed. Btw, I love the sound of Spanish, Italian, French and German ! I learnt a few Spanish words from 2 of my classmates here in the UK. Would love to learn more in the future.

Shukriya,maaf and alvida are urdu words...... shukriya- dhanyabad,maaf - shrama and alvida- namaskar........alvida is urdu and India muslim use it.........most of Indian speak mixture of hindi and urdu which is called "Hindustani" language
