haha I stood at the top of what seemed like an 8 foot vert quarter today and it was absolutely terrifying (i didnt try it!). nice tip about crouching to touch the coping, that sounds like it would come in handy. thanks!

Been wondering where you rolled off to. Thanks for the update. Happy to hear you're back in school and doing well with a new passion to fuel your fire. Local park finally opened by me yesterday. I dropped in on a 6 footer after not skating for 20 years. Thought I was doing ok cruising and pumping in bowl until I got swept off my feet and slammed hard on hip and ribs 🤦‍♂️ I think I took things too fast, need to get balance back apparently 😂 Didnt think I could forget how to skate, since I did it every day for 10+ years as a kid. But I remember skateboarding will always humble you every single day 😂

Kid said it perfect: "Oh my God!" I would also like to add my only knowledge when it comes to attempting to drop in vert: Make sure you have A) skateboarded the last 15 years, and B) do not smoke a joint beforehand. My elbow still makes a funny noise when flexing, another 15 years later

JB Good luck with the career move, your kindness will make you a great firefighter.🤩 Love this lesson, although I haven't been brave enough like Obbi to drop in on a mini ramp without my husband's hands holding me,🤦‍♀🤦‍♀ I hope the superpower of that super cool helmet(I have the same one in gold) will give me the courage to do it by myself soon. Soo true, skateboarding is the fear that stops you, but overcoming it also feels great too..... Hopefully for me on that drop-in! Thank You again JB for all your videos.

This is an intense episode. Amazing what that little dude does. Beautiful to see how he trusts you 100% and follows your instructions so well. The ultimate drop-in all alone made me shout out here. Congrats on your career! I subscribed to support your awesome videos, even though I know it's just a little help. I began snowboarding 3 years ago and quickly became a park enthusiast. I believe that skateboarding can greatly enhance my snowboarding skills during the summer, so I decided to start skateboarding this year, even at the age of 33. I wish I had started at a younger age. But hey, skateboarding is fun, especially transitions, though it's also scarier and tougher than snowboarding. I can feel your passion for teaching, and I totally get it because I used to be a PE teacher and swim coach.

I needed this two days ago. Now I know why it felt weird compared to a smaller drop in. I was standing too tall. I'll try the hand on the coping next time.

You definitely don’t have to get the hand on the coping but you do need to tuck into it when leaning 🙌🏽🛹🙌🏽

Oh and congrats on the firefighting career. I found the most rewarding jobs were rescuing children and reconnecting them with there parents. Your a pretty upbeat guy anyway but it just makes beam out with joy , so rewarding experience. Good luck
