I'm still shooting my 1994 Browning Ballistic Mirage. 28 years old and I've changed my string 4 times, which averages out to once every 7 years. That's what proper string maintenance can do for you.

@@rrr3r2 You're right. I don't shoot as much as I used to. Maybe about 100 arrows per week. Back when I was shooting leagues 5 nights a week I was shooting 300 - 400 arrows per week.

You always have the best tips. Now you got me cleaning my bow string at 11:30 at night lol. I shoot a PSE Drive Nxt set at 60 it’s a joy to shoot. Thanks for the info!!

I have an thick coating of microcrystalline wax on all my strings except the servings and D-loop for my PSE Fire Serpent. Thanks for the great video. 🏹🤠👍

I shoot regularly and see the issues he's talking about on my string after 4 months... guess it's time to change it again but it lasted about 900 shots with very little waxing/maintenance (15 arrows per day, 5 days a week for 12 weeks adds up quickly!)
