Very very cute! I have started making barrel knots but I have a bit of trouble getting them tight, at times they want to fall apart before I can manage them. But I will keep practicing. I just made a big purchase from your shop but....... I'm going to make another one because I need this necklace.

Thank you for this video. I used it to help me design and make a necklace for one of the widows in my church who has become my second Mom. She will be 89 soon. I did not like the 1.5 mm leather that I found online and at a local craft store. It was too weak. I was able to find some nicely finished 2mm waxed cotton. I waxed it more with beeswax and with a little heat from rubbing it in with a paper towel I was able to get it down to close enough to 1.5 mm to fit into my stone pendant. I even got several barrel knots to hold everything in place and the adjustable sliders.

I have blue plastic knotting tools (because I make corded rosaries) and I’m wondering if they would work for making knots for jewelry (because they are quite long, unlike the shorter one you have)? Kellie, thank you for mentioning how this style of necklace is good for people who have allergies to metal. I know of 2 people who have that issue so now I know there are alternatives.

Hi Kellie! Your videos are so wonderful, clear and concise, easy to follow. I have a question: I can’t find the metal/silicone spacer beads. Could I just use a regular spacer bead or does the silicone make that much difference? And yes, the racers!!! They start on the freeway at about 2 am - it’s ca-razy!

I want to make sure the ear wires won't start to turn the recipients earring holes gray. It's happened with some of her cheaper earrings. I've worn necklaces that get a certain metallic smell when wearing them on hot days. I really would like to know how to be sure were buying decent wires, and pieces of metal if we don't buy yours? Kellie, my sliding clasp is not holding. Is there a weight limit? My leather is 1 mm and I’m using the right clasp and I watched the video to make sure I was putting it on correctly.
