Osaka is wild. It barely feels like Japan sometimes. I was there for three weeks once, one time I was riding the Loop Line (basically like the Yamanote Line) and this one girl was standing in the train holding onto the straps at one end of the carriage. So at some point, she changed which hand she was holding onto the strap with. By pure bad luck, the driver slammed on the brakes for like a second, for some reason, and she lost her balance and missed the strap when she grabbed onto it. She was also wearing VERY high heels. This girl basically had to run all the way to the other end of the carriage before she caught her balance again. And, I shit you not, everyone else in the fucking carriage applauded. It was amazing.

But I believe Matrizon's question was actually about _pronunciation_ of ざ-line (and づ), where e.g. ざ can be pronounced as /za/ or /dza/. Many Japanese speakers are not even aware that there are two pronunciations of the ざ-line, because it is just natural. As Matrizon said, "maybe it is difficult to tell for you as a native speaker". The /dz/ pronunciation is usually found at the start of a word (e.g. 絶対 /dzettai/), after ん (e.g. 漫才 /mandzai/), or after っ (e.g. グッズ /guddzu/), otherwise it is /z/ (e.g. まず /mazu/, ウザイ /uzai/). Though it seems to vary by speaker, age and region. The same rule applies to づ; e.g. 我慢強い /gamandzuyoi/ but 日付 /hizuke/. I.e. づ and ず are pronounced exactly the same (in Standard Japanese), as either /z/ or /dz/, depending on the context. Of course, in other dialects, yotsugana behave differently, from all four being the same in the north, to all four being different in the south. Wikipedia on 四つ仮名 and さ行 has more details.

Obligatory Chaewon is the most overpowered one. I can't believe after so much content available on these girls, they still ask them the same questions. Kazuha, did you do ballet? Chaewon, did you sing on TV when you were young? Ask them to see their spotify playlist or their Netflix currently watching or something! How many Nikes do you girls have at home? Anything! Jennifer, did you sing opera? Sakura, you've been an idol for how long? End of rant.
