I am actually greek but I've been studying English for 6 years and I speak English language quite well. I can assure you the Russian alphabet is easier for a greek 😁

You could cover the sounds of the letter as you write it, i only hear u mention the sounds of the words once or twice, so by the time ive finished writing ive forgotten the sound of the letter....repetition is key in teaching i hope this feedback is helpfull keep up the good work.

Бог sounds as "Boch", because a voiced consonant at the end of the word sounds asan unvoiced consonant according to rules of Russian pronunciation. In this case the letter "г" could sounds like "k", but there is an alternation to sond "h".

The letter г in Russian is quite similar to Korean's ㄱ (giyeok) 😄 Both give the sound " g " .

The russian Γ makes a similar sound to the greek Γ, but the greek Γ is much softer, almost an english "y" sound.

They did not include some other letters in our Alphabet so here you go. Ф = English f sound Ш = sh Щ = shch Ж = zh Ю = Yu Ь = has no sound. It makes the letter before it sound softer. Ы = ih Ч = ch Я = ya (means I in Russian. Example: "Ya Anna" means "I am Anna.") З = z

Here's Г, which occasionally sounds like в, but only rarely (she means fairly often). Here's a new word Бог ... except it sounds like Бох not Бог or Бов. Oops, I forgot to warn you. I love Russian. It's competing with English for inconsistency.

I see a ton of videos on the Russian language: speaking, writing, everthing imaginable except printed letter forming of Cyrillic letters. It is not intuitive how to construct letters in the most fluid manner. A video, and even practice sheets, would really be nice. I have spent an hour looking for one, and the best I have come up with instructions for the 'deh' character...just the one letter.

What confuses me is you say it's pronounced bu then say it sounds like B in English which sounds like bee.. I'm a bit new to this so excuse any ignorance :) Excellent tutorials.

+Tony Hobbs In English B is only said as the letter "Be" ...The sound of B in English is only the first part - the "Buh".. Bagel, Bravo, Bar... Words with B followed by E or I have a "Be" sound... Believe, Bistro, Before... Hope that helps! (old comment but written for lurkers =)
