Hello and welcome to my channel. In today's video i take you through some common verbs in Silozi language. SILOZI is among the 72 languages spoken in Zambia. It is mainly spoken by the LOZI people of barotseland in the western part of Zambia.

Ku-baakanya (to clean) =Go beakanya (to organize). Is the reachness of language. It actually has similarities. Ge o hlwekisha o a beakanya. When u clean u organize.

And i you want the Sotho version, replace the "Go" with "Ho" pretty much.

noh man , Kela please video call one of us here in SA and lets speak our languages and see how far the understanding will go. this is amazing. we will mix our Sesotho/Setswana and you speak Silozi

I’m Sotho, and I’m from SA, I think my language and Silozi are of the same Family, we say everything almost the same as you.

This is like some hybrid of Tswana and Sotho with a Spice of Tsonga. I have never heard of this language until today.

It is so fascinating how much Silozi🇿🇲 is similar to Setswana🇧🇼. All those words are almost identical to ours. We are definitely sister languages.
