Nice work here. Another strategy I use for clipping and gain control is to activate the input controls (Mixer wrench icon under "Channel Components". Using a mix bus like you demonstrate here you can also use the channel input control to reduce the signal going to the main bus. I also recommend putting your main bus controls onto the Mixbus and only have the limiter on the main bus. Probably doesn't make any real difference but I find it easier to gain stager and level control this way. Hope this helps someone....

Yes, indeed. I kinda wanted to talk about gain staging with the input gain controls in the mixer and making them visible, but I didn't want to overwhelm new folks with the many different options. As I'm sure you know, it can get very convoluted if you're just a beginner! Anyhow, thanks for watching and sharing insights. All the best.

A question: If you choose to reduce faders on all channels to eliminate clipping, should you likewise reduce the level(s) on any FX channels (e.g., reverb used as a send)? Thanks very much.

By default, FX Sends are set up as "post fader". So, as you decrease the fader levels of all of your channels, this should also decrease the level going to your Send which will maintain the overall balance of your mix. IF you changed the setting of the Send to be "Pre-Fader", you'll also need to reduce the faders on the FX Sends at the same time your reduce all other faders. I hope this makes sense!
