First up lets talk about what makes some pictures better than others.
The art of blurring backgrounds! Let me paint you a picture with words. The secret lies in the mighty focal point. It's the superstar of your composition, stealing the limelight while casting a spell on the rest of the scene. By skillfully placing your subject in focus and letting the background melt into a dreamy haze, you create a visual masterpiece. It's like poetry in pixels, where the foreground sings and the background dances. So, embrace the power of the focal point and watch your images come to life in a magical blur! I like to utilize the auto focus as it seems to do a pretty good job most of the time. With that being said I will use the manual focus if I am trying to capture something in focus that isn't directly in the center of your screen such as this scene from inside the cockpit! Manual focus also helps a lot with real close up shots.
