In some cases is not even necessary to clean the potentiometer. Just repositioning the wires will be enough! 🙂

Great video Nocturnal! Thanks. Saved me from buying a new sidestick. As noted by others, be aware that once you remove the side buttons there are two more screws under the right button location for a total of seven screws you need to remove. I thought I just needed to pry a little to separate the two halves, then realized my mistake. Also be aware of the rotation lock at the bottom. I did not see this and it fell out. Took me a minute to figure out how it is oriented on the bottom of the cover pieces.

On a 5700X3D I'm getting same results I had with my 5600X, while performance increased noticeably for other games like ACC. That's just bad optimization, even people with 14900k can't fully use their CPU in the game, it's just the game not being able to utilize its power. I get around 30/40% usage on all cores with the most used that never goes over 60% usage, so it cannot be a real CPU bottleneck, it's induced fom the game engine not being optimized.

I have HP envy ci7 12gen laptop, 16gb ram with 1tb ssd. GPU is nvidia GeForce 2050 but even on medium details, the airplane right,left, up down rotations are too slow after pressing relevant keys. RAM usage around 13 to 14gb, GPU 100% utilization. Anyone suggest optimum settings without much degradation of quality. Thanks

It’s amazing how those 2 items affect so much. I thought 100 was fine, but I had to go to 70 to get rid of stutters. I really hope that Asobo can fix this and get it optimized.

As of right now I am currently trying to improve my quality but there is one thing that is getting in the way of bringing out the quality of the game. I have noticed a grainy or fuzzy halo around my aircraft and the other aircraft taxing around the airport. Is there a way to eliminate this issue?

Nice video. Strange to me you use the 750 map display in N up mode. Most pilots use track up display other than for "planning" purposes or when really zoomed out or workin on SA (like a hold), but when flying an approach, I always fly track up.
