An inspiring message to work on your green thumb this season. It's critical that young and old learn to garden and cultivate the plants that sustain us. I'm here to help you learn how to help plants thrive!

I wish I had seen this during lockdown. I may not have been open to gardening then, but I sure am now! ❤️

Catherine I would love to see more video content from you! I agree with you 100%. We are all making sacrifices given the current climate of things. And I don’t think life would be as full or as interesting without gardening. Thanks!

I’ve worked 14 straight days in my yard. It’s the only thing saving me. I live in La Veta, Colorado, and we have already been through so much...wild fire, damaging hail, 90 mph winds, heavy wet snow storms, flood danger...all in the last two years. I only hope my plants are as resilient as I am. I’d like to know how to augment my vegetable garden soil. And I’m a composter failure. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Hi Emile, thanks so much for your comment. I'm glad your yard is serving as a place of refuge. Mine, too. Let me see if I can do something to answer your question. My compost is doing well this year so maybe I can offer some ideas to try.

Thank you Catherine for sharing your " gardening knowledge". I am new at this and I love it. I live in Southern Utah ( zone 6 b) so , perhaps, similar to Colorado. Thanks again ( by the way we met in Davis, Ca, community ). :)

Mhm i agree! Im currently trying to learn how to garden since i have wanted to learn it for years but the reason i didnt start back then was that i didnt have anywhere to do it. But last year or something my dad bought a bit of land from our neighboor but noone have really taked care of it and it all is just overgrown with weeds and just a big mess, so like 1 or 2 months ago i asked my parents if i could try to make some of it to a garden that i could take care of! And my parents said yes so remowed A LOT of weeds and got a bit of help by my dad and im currently working on growing grass! Im also removing dirt and stuff from some decorative gravel Stone thingies and im gonna use the method from another of your vids since i had problems with finding a way to do it! 👍 Oml this comment has gotten so long 😲. ok bai :D i will maybe inform you about hows it going with my garden sometime bc i just wanna tell someone about it 😄 and I dont know if you will ever see this comment anyways XD ok now for real bye 😂 (this is the longest comment i have ever made)

Is it possible to make dye from dieing flowers petals? As a way to recycle the petals before they die?
