@@sandrastumpf7177 Yeah. He knows exactly what you are going through. We have to keep our eyes fixed on Him. Which means we have to keep our eyes on His Word. For He is The Word. His Word is where we find this Hope and Comfort in our time of need. I'm actually struggling in a certain area right now and it doesn't seem like He is hearing my prayer, BUT I know He has and IS working it out. For we walk by faith and not by sight. It may not LOOK like it but He is at work in the spiritual realm and the natural realm. I hope this makes sense.

I hope you're in a much better place now. Remember that God's will is better than our will so we should always trust in God even when our prayers don't get answered the way we want. I've prayed for really big miracles that get answered (I fasted and prayed for 8 hours straight for the release of girls from the clutches of Boko Haram-it got answered as most of them are released but not immediate like I wanted). I also prayed for a lot less and it did not get the answer I wanted. Later on, I realized that my prayer did not get answered because it's for the good of a lot of people including myself. When we pray, especially for a miracle, we should not have a doubt in our heart. If we have that, good. Second, we should not have an unforgiveness in our heart. If we do, we need to forgive those who have sinned against us. Last but not the least, we need to turn away from sin. For me as a Catholic, it means going to confession at least once a year. Everytime the priest says "I absolve you from your sins", I actually felt like I've been cleansed and I am a new creation. For me, him standing in place of Jesus like when he told the adulterer "go and sin no more".

I spent years praying for people who never got saved and died in grave sin. GOD allowed it so I would not blame myself for their bad choices. You will see the good of your prayers some day.

Such a good question! You almost answered your own question. When we wait on the Lord, there is a difference between worrying and stressing over prayer and waiting and resting assured in faith, moving forward knowing that God is answering your prayer. In moving forward though, God still wants a continuous conversation with you daily and to hear your heart. When you're in a relationship with someone, you often talk about the same thing, any developments, and where you are at - God wants the same conversation with you!

Brother, I think GOD Knows when you need your breakthrough not necessarily in your time but in HIS. Not in your wisdom but that in that of your creator who knows best and WHO always loves you and looks out for you. Please see Isaiah 55:8-9 8 “For(A) MY thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways MY ways,” says the LORD 9 “For(B) as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are MY ways higher than your ways, And MY thoughts than your thoughts. AND Jeremiah 29:11 reproduced below 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope Trust HIM brother, for HE Loves you and gives you gifts when HE knows it is right for you in HIS wisdom and love.

I would say that you change the prayers to asking GOD what you do now.
