Your values are the things that you believe are important in the way you live and work. When implemented into your life appropriately they should help to determine your priorities. They can usually be used to confirm that your life is turning out the way you want it to. So far I have decided that Love and Self-Respect are amongst a couple of the values I would like to live by. I still have three more that I am looking to discover.
You should google a list of values and start crossing them off until you get to the 2-5 that mean the most to you. Start checking in with yourself weekly or daily to see if the decisions you're making are aligned with those values. If you are not making decisions that parallel those values be sure to make the adjustment necessary. I can almost guarantee that doing this will lead to a more positive and fulfilling life.
