I think it's long overdue that you learn how to set up your cars properly, especially if you're going to race competitively. The other thing he pointed out that I find really annoying, when I'm watching a video with nitro, is the constant throttle brapping. I usually have to turn the volume off... and not just because it's too loud. It's a bad habit if you're trying to run smoothly and consistently. Having said that....... I love your videos and I think you're a great guy that does a lot for the rc community. I applaud your efforts to continue growing as a person and improve your craft. Keep up the good work! 🤓

I can’t believe I missed this live ! Where is my notifications . I’ve done it all in rc and this is what I have settled on. 1/8 with big jumps can’t be beaten .

These engines run so good now and are som much better than they were 20 years ago. There is really no need to blip the throttle. If it flames out the tune is off. Bur great content keep em coming.

Ya gotta pick a line and stick with it, Main trick is learning throttle control and breaking - getting in and out of the corners the fastest consistency and patience is key to winning!!!! Kev is getting the hang of it, He just needs to work on throttle control and patience 👍🏻✌🏻

I know NOTHING about nitro, so I'm not arguing with you mate BUT I thought Mick was like a real nitro expert so it doesn't make sense to me when you say the engine didn't sound right,especially when Kev crashed it and Mick said " he doesn't have to rev it,the motors set up pretty good "

Kev needs to cool it on the jumps and try to scrub them so he doesn't gain so much height and lose speed and setup time for the turns. Bashers have a habit of always sending it on jumps which is the opposite of what you want to do, I used to do the same, lol. You want to always stay low and fast. Turning the wheel opposing the torque of the engine at the top of the jump will cause the rear to scrub out height but not speed which is what you want with jumps coming into an immediate turn or to get a pass on a jump. I learned this from the pros racing at Amain Hobbies 1/8 scale super cross-style track.

Well you can get some fast electric cars reasonably cheaply, Wltoys instantly springs to mind. For about $120 you can get a car that does 40 + mph ( 75 kph )
