Thank you Anna! He was trying really hard to follow the direction in the game Simon Says. He kept observing his sisters during the game and copying them. It just goes to show how much learning happens through observation and copy cat.

I saw your video when my baby was 1. He did not do anything like this. But he is 19 months now and tends to copy our activities and is super fun to teach now. He is in his own time zone. I love him ❤️😍

I hear ya, but it is good to remember that a 12 month old not sitting still is normal. Some days my daughter will be totally engaged with what I want to work with her on; other days she will be ready to move on to the next thing as soon as we are starting. Stay encouraged!

We already do a few of the activities you suggested and I can hardly wait to incorporate the others. Hi Julia. It’s normal for a baby who is 12 months old to put things in their mouth. Putting things in their mouth is one of the ways that babies learn about the world.

Hi, my little girl is 14 months old and I am trying to play with her while teaching her words and Numbers, but it doesn’t really work: she always has to move. It’s difficult to read a little book or play with flash cards... do you have any suggestions? I see your baby repeat whatyou do or say, but mine doesn’t. 😌😕🙃

Same! My daughter is 13 months and I try so hard we have the flash cards, puzzles, shape buckets, cups, and basically every educational toy out there. I try every day for hours a day rotating what we're doing all the time and I can't get her focus 😔 when I read she runs to do her thing unless there are things to touch which I have a lot but she's definitely losing interest considering we read the same 25 books or so everyday for that reason. I don't let her see that I'm frustrated but definitely am and don't know what to do.

The vlogger replied on some of the comments that his son was between 18-20 months old in that video.. don't pressure your baby.. they will learn at their own pace.. Just continue to play with them and enjoy the bond.. the learning process will follow.

@@graxha4982 oh thanks! She is now 15 and does more then before, copying what we are doing but only if she is interested in that specific movement (for exemple squeeze dry leaves with foot)😂

My baby is 15 month old but he throw all things then he don't start walk and speech he repeat only amma and pappa pls guide me for walking skill and learn to speak

Hi. Babies all start to walk when they have the strength and coordination necessary to take their first steps. The best thing you can do is supervise (and baby proof your house). Let your little one explore and watch them close as they do. Walking will happen. As far as learning to speak, we have had great success in teaching baby sign language. Be sure to talk to your pediatrician about any questions you have.

Hi Alyssa. Yes our little guy was 18 months when we filmed this video. The games we mention can be introduced at 12 months. But they will definitely get easier as your baby gets older.

Thank you for this video 🙏, it gives very good ideas on where to start. I like it especially because my son is like crashing everything (like yours only in the end). I will try to reduce the toys at first to embrace the skill, as you said. Nevertheless, I think having 4 other siblings does a great difference from whom your toddler can learn so quick. :)

I am glad that you got some ideas. Yes having older siblings does help because baby has someone to watch all the time.
