My youngest son has been riding his Honda CRF70 for a couple of years, and has really mastered it. Now watch how he learns to use the clutch on his new 2020 Honda CRF125F. It was very windy ....so sorry for the recording noise.

@BSRC-tc3pg3 жыл бұрын
Yea it would fit but it would be just a tad big but I got mine when I was 4”8 and it was a lil big. just make sure the crf125 isn’t the big wheel version, Oh and another thing if your cousin can ride a xr80 and/or crf80 then it will fit perfectly.

Maybe, but I have seen kids have some really bad crashes too many times to count, and many had no gear on. They give out stickers at most places that say "Stupid Hurts". I would rather teach him the right way, so he can enjoy it rather then eating everywhere. He can ride his smaller bike really well, so this is just about him learning the clutch.

Depends on your age. The 125 is a great bike that will serve you well, but you will outgrow it. Buy one used, take care of it, and you will be able to sell it when you are ready to move up for the same price you bought it for.

I would recommend getting a 125 engine size, and the brand depends on what your using it for. I prefer Honda because the engine is very reliable and is mainly for trails, if your looking for a bike to ride motorcross than Yamaha, KTM, or Kawasaki are good options. I don’t know that much about dirt bikes tho so hope this helps anyway

At the time he was 4"11. He just moved up to this bike. He started on a Yamaha TTR50(his brother's old bike), and then moved up a Honda CRF70...which has an auto-clutch.

That's what you do, help your kids out. It was first time riding the clutch, and it was the perfect way to show him how to "feel" the clutch so he would "learn it once, learn it right".....which he did and then never stalled the bike the entire time.
