In case anyone is curious - Bob never really mentions this, but you need actual "liquid white" or your paintings will never look like the ones in the videos. It's his brand name mix of oil, paint thinner and white (for acrylics you would need medium, water and white). It let's the white that's still wet on the canvas mix with the colours you paint on top, so you get a nice light sky instead of a black hole sun. He also uses Vandyke Brown in a very unintuitive way, iirc. With out using the exact pigments he uses you'll get issues like "everblacks".
