I'm really really curious about how you'll explain about Hydra (largest constellation - only 1 bright star with around 20 making the body) and Eridanus (sixth largest - with Achernar deep south, only two other bright stars and 33 making the river's body) constellations. Good luck on that!

I am enjoying your videos. Just a couple of helps on Cetus. Mira is only visible part of the year as it fades all the way to 10th magnitude. A quick check to see if it is visible is to start with Aries to locate the 3 brightest stars in the eastern string of Pisces. If there are 4 then Mira is Mira is the 4th. Your photo of the area shows it well. The other help is that following the eastern side of the Square of Pegasus south you hit Deneb Kaitos or Diphda. If you follow the western side of the Square you hit Fomalhaut. Diphda and Fomalhaut are the brightest two stars in this area of the sky.

yeah, It was help full . Here's how I found Cetus. I went out in my yard, to, observe the pretty crescent moon.11/17/23 I'm in wisconsin. was about a 7 pm . After looking at the moon to the south I turned around and looked north at the huge big dipper. Pretty level taking a lot of sky up. Then I notice above my house roof. A building like ,step, peak roof shape. I went in to my computer to figure out what it was, quicker than finding my books. The other constelation I knew with a peaked, roof point, is a "constelation", in the winter hexagon. Auriga. But, I, at least knew, that's a winter constelation when I go thru all the constelations in the winter hex. so what is it? So the computer told me Centus. I've never learned that one. and couldn't believe how bright it was , and if it wasn't that bright being above my 4x12 angled peak of my house, possibley, made it stand out. Because when I went out 3 hours later to look for shooting stars, It took me a while to figure out where it moved to.And of coarse, as it gets closer to setting, gets distorted and dimmer. But after 5 min searching, now 11:30 central time, it was over the woods. next it would be on the way down to the horizon, But a ways, to go yet.The good thing about this constelation is doesn't break your neck off trying to find it must be one of the ones equal to the height of teapot and scorpio. But tonight I'll use a lawn chair that tilts back, and look at the square. and try to find the onesthe other you just taught me using the square as pointer Like people do with the big dipper.

With the Disney influences on my brain over the last 5+ decades, I can't help seeing Cetus W/Pisces like Pete's Dragon. Much as the Bumble Bee.. tiny wings Above lifting the Larger Sea Creature up and out from the Underworld.

What about Dubhe Menthor (Tau Ceti) and its exoplanetary system?

I've been watching your videos for 4 hours now. :) Super addictive. To Cetus and Ketos - you're not pronouncing it well, English is the only language on Earth that pronounces "e" as "i", "a" as "e", "u" as "a" etc. It should be pronounced Ceh-tus and Keh-tos. Not Cee-tus and Kee-tus. It's the letter "i"'s job. Which brings us to "i" - for example, Tau Ceti wouldn't be pronounced "Cet-ah-y" (there's no "a" in "Ceti"), but with "i" pronounced as short "ee". Like "i" in Canis.

Seriously, if having a "favourite star" is a thing, for me it has to be Mira. It's the closest thing to a genuine 'falling star' we have in this universe, complete with a tail longer than our Solar System.
